Rebecca Wilson

Rebecca is currently an Ethics Specialist with the Department of Interior. Her focus is on developing ethics training for face-to-face facilitation as well as eLearning modules.

Rebecca began her federal career in the military as a Medic in the U.S Army and continued in the Minnesota National Guard until retiring in 2017 with 24 years of service.  As a Soldier, her career evolved into various instructor roles, which led to a position in Human Resources Training and Development with the National Guard. Through these experiences, Rebecca gained enthusiasm for training and a passion for ensuring it is engaging and effective. This interest led to a decision to return to school for an Ed.M in Training and Development at the University of Illinois.

Rebecca’s experience as a previous small business owner along with working in multiple capacities in the Military and other federal positions, generated an enthusiasm for Organization Development. In 2014, she found herself back in school, earning an Ed.D in Organization Development and Change from the University of St. Thomas.

Rebecca currently resides in Minneapolis Minnesota with her ‘fur baby’, Nala. Her daughter Madeline is married and lives in Wisconsin. Rebecca enjoys running, a variety of fitness activities, and learning about health and wellness.
