Mike Wheeler is the Program Manager for the “Partnerships on Every Forest” team within the Forest Service’s National Partnership Office. His work is focused on building agency partnership capacity and supporting partnership practitioners through network building and management, the development of trainings and training materials, advocacy for structural and policy change, and direct support.
Before joining the National Partnership Office, Mike worked as a leader for cycle tours on the Pacific coast, a camp counselor, and then at a pottery studio in DC. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in History, with a minor in Art History and a concentration in Studio Art. When he’s not at work, you’ll find Mike bouldering, writing, playing chess, and making elaborate meals.
