Laura Harvey

Laura Harvey is the Interpretive Specialist for the National Capital Region of the National Park Service. She assists the 14 national parks in and around Washington, DC with education programs, grant writing, program accessibility, and "other duties as assigned".

Her dream job varies between curator of the Jungle Room in Graceland when it becomes a national park, or superintendent of Roswell Alien Crash National Park when Congress gets around to creating it.

In 35 years with the National Park Service, she worked at Petrified Forest, Grand Canyon, Cape Cod, Lake Meridith and Alibates Flint Quarries, Rock Creek Park, and is now working in the National Capital Regional Office.
