Alicia Bell-Sheeter
Alicia Bell-Sheeter is Assistant Director for Tribal Co-stewardship and Programs in the USDA Forest Service Office of Tribal Relations, stationed at Forest Service headquarters in Washington, DC. Her work is focused on bringing tribal treaty rights, traditional and cultural uses, and indigenous traditional ecological knowledge into planning, decision making, and collaborations in the Forest Service.
A transplanted Coloradoan, Alicia has worked in tribal and rural communities throughout the country for more than 20 years, addressing natural resource management and land-use planning, traditional food systems, mitigation banking, and poverty.
