As partners, we do our best to stay in step with everyone that we work with. Like many of you, the Academy pressed “pause” on some of our activities during the lapse in federal funding.

2025 has been a time of rapid change – and for many, a time of uncertainty. At the Academy, we are doing our best to meet partners where they are, and provide support to those in transition.

Every day, we look to our mission to inform our next steps: We are an interagency community of partnership practitioners working to cooperatively steward the natural, cultural, and recreational resources in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories.

For 2026, that means we will continue to offer Managing by Network, the six-month course that forms the cornerstone of our training. We are finding ways to keep our Alumni network connected, no matter where they are. And we are exploring new options to offer more training – in smaller doses, and in new formats.
