Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

Congratulations class of 2024

The Partnership and Community Collaboration Academy is honored to welcome 120 federal, state and nonprofit employees to our alumni network of over 1,300 graduates. Graduates of Managing by Network attended live, weekly, virtual training sessions starting in January and completing in early June right before the start of the busy field season. The Class of 2024 included participants from 13 federal agencies and partner organizations. They consistently brought their “A-game” to the six month course, while embracing the opportunity to learn from some of the leading practitioners in our field.

Twelve case study presenters put a face on collaborative conservation and a spotlight on the art and science of complex network development. This year’s storytellers provided novel approaches to address the impacts of climate change, deepened our understanding of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility, and expanded our toolbox for effectively engaging with Tribal nations and indigenous communities.

Managing By Network just completed its 16th year. Thank you to the dedicated Federal Coordinators representing our cohosting agencies, and our all-star cast of guest speakers, instructors, and alumni.

Managing by Network is a partnership program built on the understanding that learning with and from each other propels us all to new heights. Managing By Network is cohosted by the Bureau of Land Management’s National Conservation Lands and Community Partnerships Directorate; the Department of Interior Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution; the National Park Service’s Stewardship Institute; the National Partnership Office of the USDA Forest Service;  the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Institute for Water Resources, Collaboration and Public Participation Center of Expertise, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service National Conservation Training Center.
