Academy programs focus on building knowledge, skills, and abilities associated with key leadership, partnership, and community collaboration competencies.

Our courses are designed for partnership practitioners working in public lands stewardship, conservation, resource management, Tribal and community engagement. Many trainings are inter-agency and muti-organizational by design, to promote peer learning and networking.

Our training combines instruction, interaction, and reflective exercises to provide a rich and engaging learning environment. We encourage active participation in class and application on the job.

Academy alumni represent diverse partnership responsibilities, local to international partnership programs and initiatives, landscape-scale and community-based collaboratives, and key administrative support roles.
