Sergio Pierluissi

Sergio has been with the Fish and Wildlife Service for 17 years. After receiving his Masters Degree in Wildlife from Louisiana State University, he began with the Service in Michigan as a private lands biologist with the Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program (PFW), followed by PFW positions in Ohio and Alabama.

From there he worked in the Natural Resource Damage Assessment (NRDA) program in northern Idaho, working on restoration in the Coeur d’Alene Basin. He then returned to PFW as the Regional Coordinator for the Southeast Region.

His current role is as the Regional PFW Coordinator for the Midwest Region, where he oversees a staff of ~45 PFW State Coordinators and private lands biologists.
