Sarah Gray

For more than 15 years, Sarah Gray has woven an inter-disciplinary web that includes roles like: park ranger, environmental educator, volunteer coordinator, executive director, Crucial Conversations instructor, and board member. Her throughline is working (and playing) at the intersection of people and place.

During her tenure with the US Fish and Wildlife Service’s Portland, OR-Vancouver, WA Urban Refuge Program she designed and implemented outcome-based program plans, and monitoring and evaluation plans.  Her interest in the application of Trust Ecology to her work in Portland-Vancouver has led to a variety of guest instructor opportunities. Currently she is serving as the Executive Director for the Yarg Foundation.

Sarah lives in Portland, OR with her husband, two kids, and a rambunctious shepherd mix.  On the weekends you can find her playing outside, reading, walking her dog, practicing yoga, or trying a new recipe.
