Susan Goodwin

Susan Goodwin, with Good Solutions, LLC, is based in Boise, Idaho, and is a dedicated facilitator, mediator, and trainer. She specializes in guiding organizations and groups to work cohesively, unlock their best thinking, and arrive at sustainable solutions. She brings over three decades of experience with the U.S. Department of the Interior – 20 of those years with the Office of Collaborative Action and Dispute Resolution, helping diverse stakeholders navigate complex issues and find common ground in high-stakes situations. One of her main roles was delivering training to staff and leadership in conflict management, facilitation and collaboration skills to help build capacity within the agency.

In addition to her work with external parties and interest holders, Susan has significant experience with workplace mediation and facilitating internal organizational development. She works with leadership teams and staff to strengthen internal communications, improve decision-making, and foster a fair, inclusive and transparent culture.

She is passionate about fostering collaboration and resolving conflict, especially in the context of organizational development, environmental policy and public lands management. Her work is rooted in the belief that effective collaboration and conflict resolution can drive meaningful, lasting change for organizations and communities alike.
