Applicants share information on their partnership responsibilities and experience, as well as particular challenges, opportunities, and training needs related to collaborative conservation. Applicants who require supervisor approval for training must have their supervisor complete a recommendation.
Selection is competitive; space is limited to 120 participants.
August 1 – October 15:
Academy accepts applications for National Scholarships and priority Open Seats.
October 16 – November 14:
Academy accepts applications for open seats, as space is available.
- Applications received by October 15 receive preference in the competitive selection process for National Scholarships and Open Seats.
- Applications received after October 15 are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, subject to the number of seats available for this course.
October 15 – 31:
Selection of Managing by Network Class of 2026.
November 3:
Academy notifies applicants of their status.
November 4 – 14:
Participants selected for National Scholarship seats confirm their availability. Participants selected for Open Seats confirm their availability and work unit funding. Alternates for scholarship or open seats may be invited into the class if a seat becomes available.
- Complete the Managing by Network Application Form below.
- If you require supervisor approval for this training, ask your supervisor to complete the Supervisor Recommendation Form below. This form should NOT be submitted by the applicant. If you do not require supervisor approval, please indicate this on your application, and this requirement will be waived.
- National Scholarship and priority Open Seat Applications are due November 1. Applications for Open Seats are accepted until December 2. See Tuition for more information about National Scholarship eligibility.
- Within 2 business days of processing your completed application (including supervisor recommendation form, if applicable), the Academy will acknowledge receipt via email. Status inquiries may be directed to the Registrar, info@partnership-academy.net.
- Applicants selected for the course will be notified November 3.
- Applicants selected for National Scholarships must confirm their availability by November 14.
- Applicants selected for Open Seats must confirm availability and funding by November 14.
- Alternates for National Scholarships will be notified of their status by November 3.
- Alternates for National Scholarship seats may be invited to join the class through an Open Seat. Alternates may also remain on the list for a National Scholarship seat, if one becomes available.
- Wait listed applicants will be notified of their status by November 3, and are invited to apply for consideration for future offerings.
