Reid Armstrong
Reid Armstrong has served in public affairs on the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests & Pawnee National Grassland since 2011. Located outside of Denver along Colorado’s northern Front Range, these rank among the country’s busiest National Forests with 7.5 million visitors annually.
Prior to starting her Forest Service career, Reid spent a decade working as a journalist in Colorado and on the Chesapeake Bay covering environmental issues.
Her first career was in outdoor education, and she remains passionate about and helping young people discover careers in natural resources and public land management.
