Peter Bonsall

Peter Bonsall is the National Trails Program Specialist for the National Park Service. In this role, he provides programmatic assistance to the National Trails System, which consists of National Scenic, National Historic and National Recreation Trails across the country.

Previously, Peter was the GIS Specialist for the National Park Service's Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Division, where he provided GIS support to the National Trails System, Wild and Scenic Rivers Program, and the Rivers, Trails and Conservation Assistance Program.

Peter is a graduate of Towson University (MD) where he received a M.A. in Geography and Environmental Planning, and James Madison University (VA) where he received an undergraduate degree in Geographic Science and a minor in Environmental Science.
