Jaime is a Training Specialist in the Branch of Conservation Leadership and Communication at the National Conservation Training Center (NCTC) in Shepherdstown, WV. She began her career as a GS-1 Office Automation Clerk working a part-time/full-time schedule until graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Shepherd University.
She transitioned into the Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) thereafter and was later converted to full-time permanent. Jaime has had the pleasure to work in an array of divisions at NCTC, which has not only expanded her knowledge of the Service, but also deepened her love for the agency. Jaime’s had the pleasure to serve in meeting planning, training, and human resources.
She is a Certified Instructional Technologist and Challenge Course Instructor. Jaime is a qualified MBTI Practitioner and is also certified in Extended DISC, Crucial Conversations and Emotional Intelligence. Jaime is the Course Leader of the Service’s orientation course, “USFWS Foundations: Discover Your Service!” She has also devoted significant time to the design and development of a soon to debut online leadership program for the Service.
A Shepherdstown native, Jaime feels truly blessed to have all of her family nearby. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing on the river, trekking through nature and pursuing new adventures.
